All downpipes can be installed in many different way’s, The most common ranging from;

·         Internally through boxed eaves. This way is the most common and generally most preffered as the downpipe is very tucked away and not very obvious to the eye. Unfortunately with this method of installation once the downpipe rusts or if the seal gets broken the water inevitably leaks into your eaves.

·         Externally out the bottom of your gutters. Externally you will see the whole downpipe but is the most effective for dispersing water from your gutters. This method will never leak water into your the eaves as no part of the downpipe is in the eave.

·         Double Offset, which also come out of the bottom of the gutter. These are installed where you don’t have eaves.

There is no price difference in any methods of installation.

GKH Guttering will always replace the top's of your downpipe's even if we dont replace the whole pipe. The top is the part of the downpipe that goes from the back of your gutter to the wall through your eave's. You can not see this part from the ground. The top's generally rust out as quick, sometimes even faster than your gutters do. GKH Guttering always put a steady fall on all downpipe's we install including the top.
