There are numerous profiles of gutter you can have installed on your home. Ranging from

Steeline and Federation profiles can come slotted and non-slotted. Having slotted gutters is a great idea for homes with overflow problems. The slots are in the face of your Colorbond Gutters and are about 10mm lower than the height of the back of your gutters. Therefor in heavy downpours when your gutters do fill up the rain will come out the slots rather than filling completely and going over the back into your eaves. If you are having severe problems with overflow then GKH Guttering also recommend for you to get extra Colorbond Downpipes installed.

Slotted gutter does not cost any extra, and we highly recommend everybody to have it on their home, except where you have a patio (depending on the design), some patio's it is still ok to have slotted.
